  1. I've installed it on my laptop since I don't use it much. So far it's okay (why is border color customization disabled? x.x), but I really love the win10 background. One of the best os backgrounds yet.

  2. Is anyone opposed to keep using "Aura Project" for the organization and this site? I've realized that "Aura Project" != "Aura". Aura Project is the name of our organization, and our "flagship" product was Aura, but just because we can't work on Aura anymore doesn't mean we have rename the "company". Only the client and server need a new name.

Shouldn't the client and server be the same name?

  3. We could just do something similar to what maple does. Instead of weight, just simply limit the amount of inventory spots, along with how much pots can stack to.

  4. I assume regular dyes are only there to rip off the players. However, I don't know if players should be able to get any color they want easily... the hunt for the correct fixed dyes kinda has become a part of the game^^

Well, having fixed dyes for every single color just isn't going to happen. So I would just keep what I said above, but make dye amps harder to get.

  5. This isn't a bad idea. However, releasing an item only a few times makes it rare, which causes high price. And from that, people will play the game longer to earn enough and buy it. Without limited time items, everything would be low priced and there wouldn't be much effort. As DeleteIT mention in the chat last night, people who are attached to their character ingame are more likely to play the game. If you have a rare item, you want show it off. Not only that, but you feel like "oh I got a rare item that not many others have", and I feel like it makes you play more (is it just me?). It all kinda connects, if you get what I'm saying. (such gr8 marketing techniques)

However, if you have as many items as Mabi does, that's gonna take a lot of time and effort. But, the rarer the item, the lower the success rate and harder obtained materials. Once again, it gets people playing more to keep trying to make that item. Both methods work, you just gotta look at the pros and cons of each side.

  6. I like Eos, and it's a kind of a reference to Aura as well^^ For clarification, this would be the overall code name for our game engine and the GitHub organization.

So then what will the actual game be called? :o

  7. In that case .NET in general will probably be a safe bet, because the chances that I'll choose C# for a new project are very high. You could actually write scripts in VB.NET in Aura, although nobody ever used or really tested that feature xD

If I was aware of this, I would have tried xD
