File structure

Collection  - Monster Collection book, Achievements and other stuff..
Events      - Logged Events
Homestead   - Homestead Specific Logs, Will be merged with systems folder.
Items       - All item logs.
Npcs        - NPC logs, Interactions between NPC and Players.
Pets        - Dunno? Duplicate? only thing it contains is stress values for partners.. it will likely be merged with Systems folder.
Quests      - Everything here should be quests there all sorted by Generation or City + Part time Job Name.
Regions     - Packets that are in specific regions such as Moon gates, Mana Tunnels, Land Marks, Marriage.
Skills      - Contains 90% of the skills in the game, there are few missing but I'm working on logging them!
Systems     - Contains game system packets, such as Commencing. Knockback, Character Creation.

System or Skill name, Version

Example -208.txt

How to view the packets

Please download MabiPale 2 and open the packet with that program, use windows search inside the Packet Archive if your looking for something if there are any packets you want me to improve, Please reply with the Packet name and I will relog it when I have time.

hmm, well that series of logs was long before the standards improvements for logging, the best logs for RP missions where the Saga, G14-G15-G16, though kind of have to know which mission is RP.

though, i have also noticed rp missions also send VehicleInfo and AreaHideOn though this might just be for later g14 rp missions, I am currently recapturing G1 packets if you have a packet list you want me to filter by default when capturing the packets, please post them :)

New File Structure
 

 


  • Quests
    Contains sorted by Chapters, (Chapter 1 (g1-3), Chapter 2(G4-8), Chapter 3(9-12), Chapter 4(13-16),Chapter 5(17-18),Chapter 6(19-21)
     

  • Skills
    Sorted by Player, Monster, Event structure
     

  • Events
    Sorted by year each year contains event packets.
     

  • Systems
    Sorted by Specialty, such as Commencing would be it's own folder which contains all logs including the skill logs of this, this is the only exception where skill logs that will go in different folder then the "skills" folder if the skill is a feature and can't be separated from a game play system then it will go together.

Wish List For packet logging @exec

- Ability to add in comments between packets. (would be a pretty much empty packet data with a comment)
this is something, i have personally wanted. have split up packets into multi-able packets however some single packet areas can still be very large and not very clear what's going on unless you spend the time reading the data.

Yea, I've thought about that myself. Though I was thinking about commenting the packets itself, not add dummy packets in between, but I guess the result would pretty much be the same? For example, an open window with a text box, similar to the analyzer, and when you select a packet you can see and edit the comment for it.
