Really great job on the updates. I can login and create an account, and kinda-sorta create a character, but I can't login; that's probably the outdated packets, but a few days before I couldn't even get in-game. Awesome work, despite your fairly busy schedule. I have a friend coming over to check out this project soon, but I believe he's busy. He's not the best at C#, but any help is good help.

Alrightie, I'll ask some of my buddies if they can take a look at the GitHub on their spare time. I know they've recently picked up TOS as well, so this could be right up their alley.

Speaking of, I have a few buddies who are proficient with different programming languages, should I recommend them here, or is this project semi-private?

The problem might be due to the recent changes on the side of TOS; I'd wait for Zemnya and Melia to update before we try again. I'm not sure on an ETA though, but considering there's very few people (like... one person AFAIK) working on Melia, as a lot of the work seems to be focused on Aura - Melia being a sort of side project.

Could you do me a favor, and bring to the front, the "Melia - Login" window? I can't seem to read what's on there. :B

The reason why it says "Can't load config file" is because the server emulator used to run the server is not updated to the latest TOS client. Once the server emulator is updated, you shouldn't see that problem. At least, I'm fairly sure that's the reason why.

Hm, it's hard to say what the issue is because I haven't personally experienced it myself. Perhaps try running the client in Administrator Mode, see if that helps?

I'm not quite sure, it sounds more like a client-side issue. I assume your servers are up and running successfully, right? There are some guides around the forum that mention what to do client-side. Did you check your Properties for the TOSClient shortcut?

I can't say that I do, but aren't the clients essentially a Target-modified version of the TOSClient.exe?

Oh I see, I'll keep that in mind, thanks! I think since I'm just waiting for updates, I might look into Git. I've never used it before but if it's as you say, then familiarizing myself with it should be pretty cake. I think that once things start to simplify in regards to creation of servers, I think people will be a bit more attracted. Right now, I don't even think many people know about the fact they exist in some form.

I used to run a private Ragnarok Online server, and with that I used SVN to grab the emulator eAthena. My question is, if I wanted to update Melia, how would I go about it, would I have to use SVN? It's been years since I've done any of this and I don't like asking too many questions. Also a less-important question: How active do you guys think the TOS private server community will be? I remember RO having the whole 10 yards, from private servers, websites to list items/quests/maps (at the time, wikis weren't too popular, good times, ratemyserver :'D)
